“A Book’s Journey” – CLS 4th writing, illustrating, hand-building & marketing one’s original book – celebrating 20 years with this program!
Geometry & Landscape Art – CLS 3rd & 5th — Hudson River School inspires looking for Geometry in the Landscape. Students use Geometry to create a variety of drawings, pastels,faux stained glass pieces
Dance & Italian Heritage — CLS 3rd — Connecting to Italy’s past through dance with Vanaver Caravan
Madagascar Day – Entire BMS 6 – 8 graders learn about Madagascar through Art, Theatre, Food & More
Improv & Salem Witch Trials – BMS 7th – through art of Improvization students re-enact the actions of emotions of the Salem Witch Trials era using their library research to inform their theatrical explorations
Cardboard Carpentry with Adaptive Design Hudson Valley – BMS 7th Tech — partnering with Adaptive Design Hudson Valley students create furniture and devices for mobility-challenged individuals, using cardboard as their building material
Biomimicry – BMS 7th Science – using recycled materials, students use Biomimicry to create a grasping tool, based on the design of Raptor Talons
Taking A Stand – Art for Social Change – BMS 8th ELA – students research a social change movement or persons making change and create an art piece to express their support for these causes
Finding the Voice in Your Instrument – BMS & RHS Bands – explore Jazz Improvization and Classical music with professional musicians
Shakespeare: Romeo & Juliet – BMS 8th ELA – taking the Bard to the stage. Students explore acting for Shakespeare and mastering the meaning and language of Shakespeare
History Walking Tour of Rhinebeck – BMS 7th Social Studies – Students visit town sites and meet with actors & artisans to learn about life in Rhinebeck during the Revolutionary War era
Choreography with BMS Choral Club – BMS 6 – 8 – students work with choreographer to create a production number for their Winter & Spring Choral Concerts
After School Improv Club – BMS 6 – 8 – weekly Improvization classes, performance at year end

Printmaking & Poetry to Honor Earth Day – Linden Avenue School 8th grade Art & 7th grade ELA classes – creating an outdoor exhibit of printwork on cloth and poetry to mark Earth Day 2026
Embody Art: Beginning Figure Drawing, Math & Anatomy — Red Hook HS Grades 9 – 10 Art Students learn use of math and observation of anatomy to draw from live models
Embody Art: Advanced Figure Drawing, Math & Anatomy — Red Hook HS Grades 11 & 12 Art Students learn use of math and observation of anatomy to draw from live models
Arlington Central School District – New district – working with them since 2024
Noxon Energy – Noxon Elementary 4th — a student-performed Science Show about Forms of Energy
Math, Measurement & Movement – Noxon Elementary 2nd grade – students explore math through movement.
